Was considering something else. Then I wanted to change the strap on this. Only to find out that the spring bars it came with are wayyy too fat to fit in the strap, and all my other spring bars are too skinny to hold a strap in(large drilled lug holes). So after all the frustration with that I'm still wearing it on the bracelet.

Staying with the theme of spring, watches, and orchids. This is the same orchid I showed a while back, now in full bloom. With it, however, is not the same watch as shown previously. Another Rolex. This time, a manual winder, Rolex Royalite, dial marked Precision. The movement is the high grade, 10 1/2 ligne movement, Super Balance, 18-jewels, adjusted to six positions. This is a Rolex Chronometer of circa 1940. I'd wear it more often, but it looks pokey on my big wrist.
