People be posting watches faster than other people can be liking them!

Having a quiet day of cataloguing when I thought I should really clean this watch. Then I started cleaning other watches ... this might take some time.

First day of real spring over here. My brother and I took the opportunity to smoke a cigarr and enjoy the light and warmth,

Titanium Seamaster and Sinn GSG9 seemed to cope.

We had been out working in the woods and the watches coped with that also...

These are easy to love. Here's a favourite of mine. An 1892 model Waltham, lever set, 17-jewels, marked for the Canadian Railway Time Service. A 24-hour, double-sunk, vitreous enamel dial. Listed in the Waltham "grey" book as P S Bartlett grade, circa 1907. It is 110 years old, and while the watch is not running in the pictures, it runs beautifully.
