Today, Longines Evidenza Power Reserve. I'm not a great fan of tonneau cases, not specially admirer of Longines as a brand after the 50/60's and i don't see the use of the Power Reserve complication in an automatic watch. Why did i bought it? Well, let's say that's not wise surfing the internet, under influence, with a credit card in hand. Well, it could have been worse...
Decided it was time the Longines p.w. escaped the confines of the safe, it was made to be used and reckoned it would look good on the desk but how to display a 'Hunter' ? As they say the Deil finds work for idle hands so and old pewter tankard adapted with hacksaw and files equals job done Daily display,
It's been a while since I posted anything so I figured why not snap a pic of what has been my daily watch for the past half year.
Amazing Reissues at Baselworld 2017 by Omega, I rank it as: 1. Speedmaster 57, 2. Seamaster 57, 3. Railmaster 57 Perfect vintage reissue all under 40mm with faux patina Not a big fan of new releases by Tudor (Blackbay everything), Rolex & Tag Heuer (even the Autavia reissue), need to learn more from Omega I have seen many wiser men fallen and took Omega 57 reissue pre-order As for me, I have to pair Rindt with Double Grain BoR to RESIST the temptation *and the AD that takes pre-order for these 57 reissues just 15 minutes drive away*
