On honor of St. Patrick's Day I'm wearing my Irish Linen dial Datejust with green Hodinkee strap and green Allen Edmonds for luck. [emoji256]
Both me and the better half have just exclaimed "wow - a Rolex that I like!" 馃槑

Thank you. It's one of my favorite dials that Rolex has ever made.

Back to full working order. I am seriously considering polishing this case. I have never polished any watch I own, nor bought one that has been polished but this seems to want to be shiny ....

PS Panerai owners, its a light hearted joke, I'm an Australian, we have a constitutional right to take the piss 馃槣

Thats only due to the a) deep seated British genes, and b) heat related insanity. 馃槣

Yours, the cold, drizzle soden cousin back in the ole country. 馃槈

36mm was definitely the way to go. It's hardly small on my 6.5" wrist. In fact it's making me take another long look at Nomos again (sigh). Running a smidge over +10s/d so far, but that's a #FirstWorldProblem if ever there was.

My (current) youngest wants to make himself hamburgers tonight and claims to be busy doing homework (on a Friday night!?!) so off I go!

Well allow me make matters worse then! 馃槣

Ordered on Tuesday, arrived in northern California from UK on Thursday. Comes with the nato (I wasn't really a fan before, but I like this one) and two quite nice quality leather straps (a brown and a black one, open ended, with an adhesive flap with a paper peel-away tab). Comes with a two-watch zippered travel case - which looks more than capable of doing the job and appears well made. All of this for, what, almost the price of an alligator strap. What's not to love here?

I've got all the big honkin' oversized watches I could ever need (well, you know, for now 馃槈 ) - I like the 36mm a lot, I think it'll make a great summer-casual watch.
