It's really quite unbelievable.

I owned a 993 for many years and thought the same of it, but this one... there's not words to describe the driving experience... and an SUV!

0 to 60 is 4.4 (edit) seconds, but it feels less!

Then the handling, well... again, no words!

Yup.....can't beat 20 years of suspension tuning. And the sound......standing behind the "truck" when it started up was the icing on the cake and we took ours straight home off the lot.

Probably should have done an "incoming", huh? ... might've been interesting to see what kind of "guesses" would've been made with some 'clever' hints 馃槈

Say what? 馃槻
You're already wearing three watches? 馃嵖

Pic(s) or it didn't happen, sir! 馃榿

Picture not great. Awkward trying to photograph three watches on two wrists. The Certina and the Omega are two orphans I have adopted and fixed up. You might call them "survivors". Both serviced, and testing them to iron out a few wrinkles. The Rolex is a mid 1980s Rolex Date-Just that I sold to its owner as a used watch about 25-years ago. I have maintained it for him ever since. Just serviced, but I have yet to polish the crystal.

Three watches. I don't kid!

Also, did you purchase from the Porsche place with the track that's on the approach end of 26R at KATL?

This post is dedicated to CajunTiger.

He had placed a FS/Trade offer for a magnificent unpolished gilt 1675 last year. I had never been that much of a Rolex fan, but that particular watch just pushed all the buttons for me. I HAD to have it. I whined. I wheedled. I pestered. But CT was really looking for a trade that I didn't have. Meanwhile, he put up with me with great patience. And inspired me to go out and find this 1675 pcg.

It came with the original very faded orange/blue insert. The seller was kind enough to give me a lovely fuchsia insert in addition to the watch.
And then I bought the nearly NOS maroon date-appropriate insert (pictured) which I love. The pics don't do justice to the deep and brilliant maroon color of this one.

CONGRATS!! That is a beauty...I'm glad my GMT inspired you, you did very well!

Nope, I actually found this one at a healthy $20,000 discount from what the Porsche dealers wanted for a new one...
... after some shopping and bargaining... 馃榿

... at RBM of Alpharetta... soon as we had a deal, this one went flying off their 'runway' 馃お!!
