I’m a fan of the Tintin Speedmaster and the rocket tie-in, but ever wonder if Tintin himself wore a watch?
Turns out that in most adventures, he does NOT. but there are a few books, such as “The Red Sea Sharks” (Coke en Stock), where he does!!!
Plain, white/silver dial on brown strap, probably influenced by any of a dozen models from the 40’s and early 50’s.
My copy is a first edition 1958, so I’m going with this cal 501 Seamaster as my "Tintin watch spotting" WRUW. YaY!
