It's definitely a Wenger, reference 097.0699. I seem to remember there were two competing brands when they first came out. My other one is a Victorinox from after they bought Wenger.

No, they were just in the direct light when I took the shots. The lume activates in the light but dies in under 25 seconds once removed. I call it the star field or star dust dial. Many of these old Polerouters have this pattern of patina for some reason.
