Fantastic!...and dibs!馃グ

What's truly amazing about this picture is not the subject but the picture itself. I used my iPhone camera and it picks up not only the Omega symbol on the crystal but the dial is all in focus, PLUS it is an gray-overcast morning. No processing no resizing.

Amazing

I'd say it's rather hard to make a bad picture of such a stunning watch. It's fantastic, congratulations!

Poor "Yuri" (Sturmanskie 2609/3707131) hasn't been getting out much these days, so figured it was time to change that. 馃槑

I hardly ever wear my HS graduation watch anymore. It's well-loved and was my daily from 1989 until my first Swiss Army watch in 1994. Today I felt like wearing it.

15 minute countdown to the start of the Race ?
Yes, specifically for a regatta. The countdown timing coincides with audible and visual alerts to the start of a race. The boat cannot cross the starting line until the race has officially begun, so it must be timed accordingly. One of the cool things about this piece is the fact that it has a special minute counter that records every 30 seconds, so the countdown needle moves 1/2 a notch at 30 seconds then to the full minute at 60 seconds.

Cool. This is what I have used at starts, mostly following my daughters Regattas but sometimes even comp eting myself. 10 minute countdown with clear visible markers from 1983 ?
