because, when I'm boarding a plane and I glance into the cockpit, I wanna see a stick, a rudder and a few gauges.... not a computer and a yo-yo with a 992B! Its just not right! I dunno, maybe I'm just old fashioned.... but I did see to it that my boys first ever flight was in a Stearman. and most of my motorcycles have had drum brakes

Evening switch to my Dad's Hamilton Ross and Waltham Ruby since it's the Super Bowl. I forgot to wear my Dad's watches on what would have been his 106th birthday which was last January 26th...wearing his watches on his birthday (since his passing in 1996) is a yearly tradition that I've been trying to faithfully accomplish. However, one of the many father-son things that we did together was watch the Super Bowl...so I'm wearing his watches tonight. I miss my Dad...that's him in the background pic in the pics below...and that's his watch/cuff link case pictured below as well.
Mine says hi! I wore this watch for three weeks in 2012, during a three-week trip from Amsterdam to Rome, the first week travelling by train. I chose this one out of my collection because of the steel case, and the melamine dial. And because it would be easy to repair if anything happened. I found that European trains generally run right on time.
