Beater 5513 doing tool duty. Later it got some bathing time (very short - only 16 Celsius in the water out at sea)
Got an Abu Garcia myself - custom geared for long distance casting so the worm gear doesn't blow up on one of those 100+ yard heaves. That was necessary on a 12 foot casting rod. How do you like yours on the 7 footer (estimate)?
UPDATE: I just had an interaction with a very attractive 30-something woman who couldn't take her eyes off this watch. It was almost embarrassing. Her exact words: "That watch is beautiful and the bracelet is amazing." That sort of thing has rarely happened with any of my other watches... well, except for the JLC seen above. I'm a new Britten fan thanks to Wes Anderson and Moonrise Kingdom. http://m.newyorker.com/online/blogs/culture/2012/08/wes-anderson-and-benjamin-britten.html
Hi Adam, I adore Frank Bridge. I have recorded and sung his songs. Also Britten is a big favourite. Just getting into his darker work, Peter Grimes with Jon Vickers as Grimes.
