That is my favorite Mont Blanc chrono almost pulled the trigger a couple of time... Mont Blanc is starting turn out some nice pieces

It has been unusually/obnoxiously cold and snowy here in the Pacific NW the past couple of weeks. Figured I might as well make the most of it!

Pogue, still need to find one with a resist dial. Column wheel movement and applied log. If that was a Speedy the price would make your eyes water.

Back from repair.... one of the lugs had fallen off and needed welding. Before and after pics, with a thinner strap to accommodate the smaller lug space. The icing on the cake was the beautiful vintage buckle my watchmaker dug out from a treasure pile.

Sort of... now the crystal just fell off on my way to work. 🙄
The watch is pretty enough (and good enough quality) to be worth the various repairs but this is clearly a good lesson on purchasing "cheap" vintage watches when they are not branded.
