Hi Alex,
both a very beautiful watches with original dials.
A ten sided crown for the 14381 Connie on the right would be the next project馃榾
Reiner
Thanks again Reiner,

I think the crown is a service replacement. I have the correct decagonal gold crown but to be honest, despite most people not liking this crown on the 14381's, I do. Because its neat and doesn't overpower the watch.
Just my opinion! 馃槈 also much easier to wind!

I think that can be the correct crown though. My stainless 14383 spots the same crown.

Pretty sure the InvestiGator showed an add with that scalloped crown, so either it or the decagon crown are correct for those Constellations.

Wearing the '65 JLC reference 2285 caliber 800C today.

Still wondering why I didn't grab this one... was suffering from a brief bout of austerity at the time. Thankfully it was only temporary馃榾.

HiDennis, very nice JLC.
I`ve made a pic of a rose gold watch from my collection, that`s normally too classic for this hot weather today, but in cold rooms
she feels perfect on my wrist.馃榾

Don't think I have an advertisement, but I can do better:

Early Ref. 167.005 (1964) with scalloped crown. Might be original crown, might not. I still think the 10-siders are preferred, but not always original. Besides, the original thin crowns are almost unobtainable today.

Wearing the Harwood again, but seriously considered the JLC Ref. 2285 today.

Great minds think alike, I suppose.

We need you to have them more frequently. Especially when it comes to Zenith. 馃榿

Yeah, WIS occasionally get temporary responisanity. It's annoying, but hopefully it doesn't last too long.

BTW Marc, if you like those type of watches I have a line on two very nice Benrus Dial-o-ramas. I'm gonna buy one for myself as Benrus is like riding a moped - lots of fun until one of your friends see you with one.
