Perhaps nothing extraordinary, but acquired today and loving the blue ceramic and overall build quality....and the movement is impressive. No waves or sword hands, but I can live with that. Don't particularly like the bracelet so wearing a grey B&R Bands strap for the time being with an Hirsch jumbo calf for tomorrow and a Staib mesh and Bonetti rubber for summer.

Rolex 1012 - jumbo oyster perpetual with no date, and a smooth bezel in yellow gold. An uncommon Rolex reference, relatively speaking. Captures the essence of the Oyster model, without frivolities such as the cyclops and the fluted bezel.

Supposedly, this model was the inspiration for the Tissot Heritage 150th Anniversary Limited Edition Chronograph:

    I guess there's a resemblance...

The 30L movement, properly regulated, is a great accurate movement.
