WOW this watch is beautiful, I read it's debut was in march 1969 not only my birth year but the month as well...thanks for sharing...
Thanks @Omega1. One of my all time favorites for several reasons. Perfect panda dial and awesome collaboration/partnership on the 1st automatic chronograph movement between Heuer, Breitling, Hamilton-Buren and Dubos-Depraz. I was crazy lucky to find original bracelet which was like the cherry on top! I appreciate the compliment!
Just this morning Mrs. noelekal found an vintage aluminum Christmas tree in a local shop just like the one she remembers as a child and is having a blast putting it up for the season this year. She acquired a color wheel many years ago in anticipation of finding a tree, yet only now found just the right one. This Longines 30L ought to be about the same age as the aluminum tree so is being worn today while we're home decorating the house. This is what's playing on the stereo as I post this.
Today I discovered new perspectives and details of my Heuer Autavia Diver 100, ref. 11063P. The largest Autavia case houses a Cal. 12 movement. The watch is mounted on its original Jubilee bracelet with diver's extension. Have a great weekend, Mick
PO with the original ss bracelet today. Cleaned the bracelet and lightly polished the "desk-diving" scratches off the clasp. Good ole Scotch-Brite trick worked very well as always.
