Hit the gym following donut factory work today...and I needed a timer for planks. iPhone? Meh...that's no fun. I'll use my 992...if it's good enough for the railroad, it's good enough for the gym. 馃憤

So much choice! I could show many watches out of my collection in this forum. Most of which have not graced these pages. But I always find myself drawn to a few favourites. So forgive me if I show this one, yet again. It has been a while since I showed it last. Over 40 years sitting in pieces, in a box with a bunch of other Omega bumper automatic "parts" watches. Date at 6:00, waffle dial, reliable and accurate. Case courtesy of a member of this message board, "Tritium"

This Omega branded strap just arrived. Still thinking about how well the color works.

The long-forgotten and underappreciated Reverso GranSport...the rubber strap is well done, but I like it a lot better on a leather strap. Even with its imperfect fit with the unusual lugs

Genuinely, who the f%*k thought female springbars were a good idea?

Lol...One explanation that sounded very plausible: it's usually female spring bars on watches with somewhat flimsily constructed gold cases, to prevent steel spring bars from causing extensive damage to the gold over time. In an extremely minuscule sample (my collection), that theory has held true. I cannot, however, believe that to be true with a UG gold case.
