Working way too much these days so it's nice to wear a good ol' low maintenance watch with a cheerful (and elegant) strap....
(It was one of those restoration project which ended up costing more than the watch should be worth but in the end I like it so much I probably will never part with it.)

You eat in your Lotus? You're a braver man than I.

Nope, I'm not that kind of risk-taker, either... the pic was taken on the way to dinner...

Getting into the Lotus with dinner in hand would be a rather risky proposition in and of itself with the 18-inch drop into the seat over the wide sill... and 'drive-in' dining is out, too, for the same reason!

While resetting all of my watches I found this. It has been sitting unloved for months.

Very cool chrono. I checked their web site and they seem to be a very good value. It think I might indulge!
Cheers

The most interesting pics I've seen in awhile! Are you a pilot? What the info on those straps? I have never seen anything like them before.

A sincere "thank you" is in order. I am an assistant thrust manager at a donut factory named the MD-88. The straps are called the Rothco Commando and have a protective cover...see pic below with the cover deployed/activated/energized. 😁
