Thank you, yes a bumper, Omega's first incarnation. But a ref 2375-1.

That elevated metal spring between the bumper springs indicates a first execution.

Thanks for the elaboration. I have a very similar one, will post pictures soon, on this thread. I haven't opened the case-back in a while, but I remember it being a 2374 and the movement a 30.10RA (I could be wrong though).

A late 60's Datejust 1603 on a strap today... IMO, the Datejust is the most timeless design in the history of wristwatches, edging out the venerated Calatrava by a hair. There's isn't a model today we can trace back all the way to 1945 and still see the essence of the DNA intact.
