Back to my "foundling" orphan bumper Omega automatic. Originally it was a 2577-11 model, gold shell case which was a total mess, and with a sadly detiorated dial. Caliber 351, circa early 1950s. Now it's is in a 2577-5 steel case with a better dial, reconditioned movement, hand-made case clamp, replacement (Omega) hour hand, generic crown, reflector type crystal. The bracelet will do until I find one I like better. Has this dial gone "tropical", I wonder? I think it looks okay.

As the mark 4 or 5 debate raged on this morning, its Pepsi goodness showed through. (And I got little done after 3, 14 hour days.) Whatever...after a battle of the data bases, it seems the dial is correct for the SN. What really sucks is that I'm wearing a jacket. Ugh! Winter is coming. Rain out this weekend.
