After today's rainstorm I have determined that it's time to have at least one modern piece with which I have no worries about humidity/water.
OFer's, I may break down and chase my first Rollie.....oh and some pics of today's Double Wristing.

Swung by a new jeweler to scope out some new pearl earrings for the girlfriend. Stumbled across their Hamilton case and this caught my eye. It's in the dangerous "impulse buy" price range. I just loved the way it wore so subtle and comfortable. Holding off for now... but something tells me I might be back for it.

The khaki King is a fun piece for sure. A Hamilton khaki was my gateway watch to Constellations and then to Speedies.....be careful. The longer you hang out here the harder it is to get your "fix" 😎

Today is the first full day I've worn this after getting all the date (and Moon phase) complications properly set. Theoretically I won't have to mess with the date setting util the next February 29th rolls around (assuming I keep it running all the time, which is unlikely).

This one ticked off too many boxes to resist: something from the Navitimer family so that I get the ultra-geeky circular slide rule, a white(-ish) dial chronograph, and a Moon Phase complication. It was acquired during our recent Middle East vacation.
