Today I put my Zenith El Primero ref. A3817 on this low-key G.L.C. strap — matte neutral gray, no grain — in order to highlight the colorful registers..

·My latest. Acquired as a near basket case in a brutalized gold shell case, model # 2577-11, badly faded dial with broken dial foot, missing case clamp, and needing TLC. Caliber 351. Circa 1949-1952. After several hours of work, it is now behind a better dial, stainless steel case model # 2577-5, hand made case clamp, replacement Omega hour hand (different style), replaced armoured crystal, generic crown, new case tube, recondition. Crown to be replaced if I can locate a genuine one. Bracelet will do for now

It's just an orphan bracelet appropriated for the purpose of being able to wear the watch. No idea where you might find one.

·After two weeks of incredible weather, autumn has reared its head once again here in Denmark.
Apples are ready to clutter the lawn again...
Some of the leaves have a final flourish before their exit...
...And a much missed friend comes back after an extended visit to the doctor's. Feels great to wear it again!
