Finished this Geneve Dynamic yesterday. It was in a sorry state when I bought it but with new parts and service, its running and looking great 馃憤

And as it was from the seller.....required new crystal, hands, crown, stems as well as the dial straightening and movement service.

I didnt touch the case although it looks 100% better just with a freshened up bracelet

Thanks, the dial has also the sparkle in it but it didnt really capture in the pic 馃榾

If only the original owner had taken the watch to a watch maker to fix whatever was the problem in the first place instead of trying to prise out the movement themselves. They broke the crystal trying to prise it off, then bent the dial trying to figure out how to get the movement out - all you have to do is turn the movement slightly. They also damaged the hands and put a couple of tiny scratches on the dial and finally tried to glue in the stem - but the stem is a split stem push fit so you just have to push it back on the the male part in the watch.............馃

Anyway, hopefully it will be good for another 48 years 馃榿

Morning trip to the Copenhagen Botanical Garden.

And enjoying an espresso while rocking the baby carriage and waiting for wife and oldest daughter visiting the greenhouses.
