Thanks, it's a ref. 4325, the model is called the Metropolitan. This one is a solid 10K top with SS back. Some were all gold, rarely 18K.

I will be carrying a watch today. Grandpa would be proud. This Hamilton was his dress watch willed to me upon his passing. Grandpa did not care for wrist watches. He had a few high end wrist watches given to him as gifts from his Sons but would never wear them. The wrist watches sat in the box for decades never worn
