Hi @Mad Dog, what is that thing over your left shoulder? It looks like it ought to have a label saying "in case of ditching remove black protective foam and wrap around Speedmaster".

Instead of my usual Speedmaster I wore my IWC to my youngest Grandson's christening service today because I plan to leave this one to him. My Speedy will be going to his big brother.

That's the ELT (emergency locator transmitter).

Been a while since this has seen some wrist action so I thought today would be a good day to take kouroi a spin. May I introduce the $0.50 seamster ref 2627 I believe. It's a redial but acquired at a garage sale for the aforementioned price.

It's on a white python strap but I think il throw it back on the black croc strap soon.

Nice - catch anything? Where in NE are you?

Not in NE, we were in GA fishing Lake Lanier. We did very well, 50+ stripers over two mornings, plus an odd spotted bass or three. Nothing huge, all between 5-25 lbs, most at the lower end of the range.

Great fun!
