It's not a railway wristwatch. It's a railway Clock, you wear on your wrist 😀

I see this every day a few times a day hanging on the wall of the swiss train stations I travel through... total design masterpiece...

... but that reminds me of going to work

Wearing this one today.

For Father's day I received this Navy wooden box to keep mementos and watches 😀. Fits most of the watches.

Only 50 pages behind in this thread... Tried on this Tudor in Itaewon a couple days ago. Looked pretty awesome!

He had these field watches, too:

Headed for the mountains with a bunch of other trailer types. Weather forecast is good, but I need a strong watch, just in case. My 1989 Date Just will fill the bill. Had it since new, but it gets moderate wear.

Here is my Eterna Chrono, ref. 154FTP-3.

20160620_00040.jpg
I hunted this model for its unique combination of faint colors on dial, yachting marks, and bezel.

The case resembling the later Heuer Autavia, but shorter, houses a Valjoux cal. 726 movement (Eterna cal. 1491K), a faster oscillating and improved variant of the cal. 72.

20160620_00084.jpg
My watch shows shiny surfaces all around, even on the original bracelet. I've seen pieces with matte upper areas, but also clearly overdone cases brushed like an Autavia. Because the facets and edges on my watch are perfect, I do not know whether its current appearance is original or the result of a very well done yet incorrect polishing job.

Enjoy,

Mick

Cool beans...I see the Philmont patch. 👍

I did Philmont twice...second time was Rayado...which was not very fun. 😲

Thursday I'm in love.....
This one arrived today. DIBS are wasting your time. Straight into the most sacred part of the permanent collection.
🥰
And there is more to it.
Full story to follow.
Lemania cal 2310 (320). Complete as I ever seen one.
Christmas came early this year.

When I bought my Omega Speedster Professional, I read that the movement is an "1861 Lemania movement"

Is the Lemania watch in your posting the same "Lemania" as Omega Speedy? Is Lemania owned by Omega? Whats the connection between Lemania and Omega? Why does Omega use "Lemania" and not their own moments?

Thank you!
