I hadn't heard this, our local forecast, but the 18° C temp doesn't bother me. However, the forecast of rain is not to my liking! Our fiddle group will be performing at a garden party/catered bar be cue/ birthday party this evening, and fiddles don't like rain!
One of my collection goes to a new home today. A friend for whom I have done watch work was about to buy a modern Swiss Hamilton off Kijiji. But before he bought it, he phoned me to see if I had anything I might sell. I don't make it a practise of selling vintage watches. But he's made me a decent offer, so since I don't wear this one, it's time has come. Caliber 1020, Seamaster day/date, likely circa mid 1970s. Forty years old, and I'm the only one who ever worked on it!
