Tudor Black Bay watching The Stone Roses

There's something funny about someone wearing a Tudor @ Stone Roses.

20 years ago there might be 1 person out of 500 wearing any watch at all @ a SR rave / rager. More whistles then watches lol.

And, flares! Did you get smoked out?? Lol

How the hell do people sneak in flares? Wait. I don't think I really want to know.

I'm so jealous - I would love to see Reni and the boys @ home in Madchester for a show.

I'm from NYC but seeing The Stone Roses @ home seems powerfully sentimental to me.

They were one of the last 'organic' bands before the Internet screwed music up forever...

It was a great gig. Seen them before a couple of times but this was up there with the best of them.

Classic band 馃榾 Coming from the Nort West I was very much into the Manchester music scene and the early house music scene from "88 - '92 or so.

Golden years both formativly and musically....from what I can remember anyway 馃槈

What I loved back then was the overlap between dance and guitar music. Fool's Gold being a perfect example.

I think in '88 I was at a Factory Records gig at the GMEX, New Order were headlining and the Hacienda DJ's were warming up the crowd, with local house tracks amongst others, Voodoo Ray from AGCG, 808 State etc. The atmosphere was so good....the feeling was of a new scene being born. And so it was! Happy Days 馃榾

Borrowing this early '70s Seamaster from a friend to show at a GTG this morning. Looks better than most 44 year olds I've seen!

There is really only one reason I am so excited to wake up super early on a nice June Saturday and strap on the Autavia -

It's the 24 Hours of Le Mans! I'm absolutely beside myself and can't wait to see how this year's race unfolds. I live for this s__t!

Go Porsche overall / Go Corvette in GT! (With obvious enthusiasm for the Fords too!) 馃榿

Taking pictures inside the car always seems to deliver decent results for me.
