stunning watches today.... for me just an ordinary -69 Straight (with my favourite Swiss lake in the background)
Might be on a budget but (1) It looks great (2) It is technically astounding... nothing to be shy about, keep these tuning forks singing forever!
A Grand Seiko Special 6155-8000 from 1971. Expensive at the time. A extra regulated GS in relation to Seikos own standard - which were "strikter" than COSC. And extra special for me as it is a reminder of how ignorant I was in the beginning of my watch interest - thinking that all really nice and high quality watches were Swiss. Dumbass thinking and this one proves it. In the future I would like to own a VFA (the next step - competition grade and grail material) Do not mind the date. I almost never set the date and these are fresh photos for today.
Newbie to the forum but I thought I'd share my '86 Seamaster Dynamic II. Got it with the rubber strap but finally found the steel bracelet a few weeks ago.
Welcome to the forum, and nice 80's watch - can't help but think about cars when I see this one, so that's a "like" from me!
Not on my wrist actually, but carried on my pocket.... (along with an early Connie ) ... Just picked up from the vault.... and it does not wind anymore ... But I couldn't resist to picture it for you @Darlinboy Anyway, I need your expertise about this Rob @Horlogerie
