    I wear this one about once a month. Not sure why I neglect it so much. It has such an amazing dial.

    Please join me in wishing the Solar Impulse team the best as they are "in the air" right now, attempting to complete the Hawaii to California part of their Pacific crossing that was interrupted last year. Single pilot flying a ~59 hour mission. www.solarimpulse.com if anyone's interested.

    Soooooo….wearing my Speedmaster Solar Impulse HB-SIA today. YaY!

    Came home late and did not take any photos today. This on the wrist though for my Asian week . Bought it for 900 Swedish kronor (aprox. 110 USD) in 2012. Hi beat and this movement - cal. 7230 - also came in a chronometer version. This version (non chronometer) was 26 000 yen in 1974. I am happy owning one in this condition.

    Funky 1974 watch form. Original mesh bracelet. Many vintage Citizen: s have this green lume colour - not being relumed.

    The bracelet fits far better in real life than in this brochure pic (stolen from net).

    Perfect for Earth Day...

    Rolex reference 16710 powered by kinetic energy that is stored and released via a sophisticated and robust mechanical delivery system (aka the 3185 movement). No recyling needed...it will easily last another 50+ years.

    Let's see your battery-powered, environment-destroying, grid-sucking, labor-exploiting i-whatever do THAT SH*T!::stirthepot::

    And HAGD All!

    The Zodiac thread seen earlier today had me wearing the Sea Wolf around town this morning as well as mowing the yard with it.
