Continuing my Asian watch week. Orient is in my opinion an often undervalued brand - they have made some really nice watches. I guess many of you, like I used to - too, scorns the brand just because of the name. The vintage divers are often extreme value for money though.

This late sixities diver came from my watch pusher - situated in Japan - the other week. Inner rotating bezel, applied logo, haircross, day-date and Zenith-ish hands. An overall nice looking vintage diver - large in size. Compare it to/with other vintage divers of the time. Costs almost nothing. A good workhorse, cheap and good looking. What more can one ask for?

Seagull do a great tourbillon, at a very reasonable price. Some great Chinese/ Japanese watches out there.

Enicar Aqua Graph arrived today

Really like the hands, especially the lollipop, do you have an idea when these were produced? I'm thinking early 1960's.

Thanks, looks much better in person. This was a quick iPhone shot when it first arrived. I'll get some better images soon. Based on the hands and case back I would estimate it was produced around 1964.

Seems to be a bit of a vintage theme, so keeping with that...

Can anyone suggest a strap or bracelet to suit? As you can see the long lugs can make a strap look unsightly. A bracelet with end pieces might do if i can find one to fit. Any thoughts?
