That's the street I live on. We had about 15" of rain overnight so the slow creep of water has started.

Haha, never thought of it like that actually.. but it seems quite, ehum, sick, when you put it like that. My GF always looks at me in strange ways taking photos, wonder why.

That neighborhood looks exactly like the one I grew up in years ago, Pasadena / Clear Lake area?

I'm up in the Cypress area. I now have waterfront property with many of my neighbors starting to flood.

I was determined to wear this tomorrow [on Speedy Tuesday] but alas, plans have changed...again. Looks like I'll be spending most of tomorrow strapped inside an aluminium tube, and metal arm wrests + seat belt buckles + acrylic watch crystals don't play well together. So Mr. Speedy goes on duty a day early.

A favorite of mine for the first half of the day.
Zenith Chronomaster Moonphase El Primero cal. 410. One of my first "finer" watches.

Then, this one arrived. A rather cheap JLC Club Automatic from their "darker" period, when they used AS movements. This one is an AS 1906. A bit beat up but works nicely.

Looking for a fitting original crown, anyone knows the exact size?
