Return of a favourite: The Hadley Roma strap has acquired a nice patina, and someday it will perhaps match my 16 year old buffalo leather jacket, which was my first expensive piece of clothing I bought with my own money, back in January 2000. I can still remember buying the (in my eyes, back then!) hugely expensive jacket chilly Saturday morning in January before meeting my parents at a "New Years Jazz" event in my home town. I was a bit nervous about presenting it, as I thought of it as a bit of a splurge. It has followed me through my late teens and twenties and has had a few light repairs, but quality items never really get old, they just age The Tissot has aged gracefully as well (and has had some minor surgery too, in its life) and watch, strap and jacket are a nice match, I think. Lovely weather today, here in Denmark. The apple trees are starting to wake from their winter slumber, and the 83 year old hawthorn bushes we cut down to 4 inches in February are starting to sprout again and will hopefully regain some of the density of years past.
Even redialed Frankenwatches on which you paid a high noob tax need wrist time. Waiting for a meeting to start...
