    Do not mind the date - fresh pics for today. The 11630 Autavia is big - I can tell you that. As a Seamaster 1000m in size and certainly bigger than a 910 Flightmaster. I was lucky buying this one a long time ago (I believe in 2008-9) when Heuers and panda was not the "in" thing.

    The ref 11630 differs from the others, for instance, in the pushers being half hidden viewed from the front.

    Nice watch, never seen one of these before, that's why I love WRUW Today.

    One of my favourites: 38mm, pink gold and a Valjoux 22 ticking inside.

    The second of my restored Seamaster Chronostops is due back from STS today, so thought I'd re-unite it with its sibling. image.jpeg

    One of the nice things about spring break is time to get things done. One of the bad things about spring break is spending too much time in front of the computer when I should be frolicking outside. At least I can wear a few dive watches that get neglected.

    Today, as I mentioned in the "poor man's...." thread, I wore my Tissot Seastar:

    Some lovely details on the dial, somewhat in contrast with the minimalist case design.

    However, knowing that a parcel had been shipped for me the day before yesterday, I sat somewhat uneasily at work... I took off a bit earlier than normal - and lo and behold, there was a "you weren't home..." note from the mailman! ::rant:

    I was feeling rather annoyed at having missed him, especially as I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Friday. Then I noticed the time on the slip... 14.30. A quick glance at the Tissot confirmed that it was now 14.33! I rushed to my bicycle and took a tour of the (small) neighbourhood, found the mailman and bore down on him! Result!

    My first Longines ::love::

    A one-owner Conquest from 1976 with original box, booklet, buckle and strap. Has probably been used only a handful of times. The best part is that it has come directly from watchguy, so it is good for use! Financially it would have been wiser to let it go unserviced and only keep it for show, but where's the fun in that?

    It may not be on the wrist for that long, however, as it shared the parcel with my Tissot chronograph, which has had its chronograph looked at again. Such a fantastic piece with amazing presence.
