New one for me a Certina DS in I think 18k pink gold , dial looks like it was dipped and lost its text. And of course a cup of joe!

Nice Captain ! hard to tell from the angle of the shot... is it a bumper cal 71 ( would be like a 36 mm diameter case) ? or full rotor automatic ( 34/ 35 mm case diameter).

Hi Bill, it's a cal 71 in a 36/37mm case 馃榾

Here's it with its smaller rotor siblings.

The case ref is 817. This Lemania is issued to the Swedish Air Force and goes under the nickname "Viggen" due to the users in the SwAF was Saab Viggen pilots.

Thanks a lot @donkii. Now on my list[emoji6]

Same reference as Breitling 817, but different casebacks...

Glossy dial, ghost numbers, chief of the skys!

A few days late as I fell behind on this thread, but I love these! They're increasingly hard to find an all original example where someone hasn't messed with something on them. I see nice dials with terribly relumed hands or nice hands with awful relumed dial frequently. Yours, however, is a BEAUTIFUL example and I'd add myself to whatever dibs list that exists!
