·Cool watch. What's the story with the 1/2 redial- though? I personally don't get super bothered by 'restored' examples as perfectly great daily wearers, but it's interesting that your watch has new hands and new line between 4 and 8, but not between the 9 and 3!
@kylel may know but guessing the lower half was past it and got updated at some point?
Anyway great watch to ring out the old and ring in the new year with 😀

·For New Year's Eve I switched to a dressy watch:
This is an IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar, ref. 5021-17, one of 20 made for the Pisa Orologeria in Milano.
The case crafted in White Gold measures 44 mm in diameter.
I hope that the 5 will jump in a few hours, together with all other calendar indications.
The IWC cal. 50611 is an 8 days automatic movement with Kurt Klaus' perpetual calendar mechanism on the dial side.
