I have Star Wars tix for Tuesday. Tonight, however, first of our Chicago Symphony subscription concerts, with dinner beforehand at the University Club! (Nice to have a friend as a member ;))

Excellent way to spend the evening. We lived in Cleveland for many years and really miss the symphony. Good you are going this week, Dvorak trumps pop Christmas music every time.

Dinner at the University Club and tix to the CSO. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that. And the Hamilton was an excellent choice :)

Long sought and arrived this week. Hasn't been touched that I can see, and shows its service. I like to think the "ghost" bezel is the result of repeated exposure to ultraviolet light at high altitude in an F104 Starfighter.

Star Wars? Never have seen one, and see no reason to change that this time around. I'll stay home and fix a watch.

Vintage Speedmaster and a heavy North American men's river otter coat. Both were my Dad’s and actual period correct mid-‘60s holiday visiting attire for the Montreal, Canada area.
