After feeling much peer pressure from this Forum, I decided to capitulate, and acquire a "minimal stitch" strap. This one from Martu.

OK, I get it now. Thank you guys! 馃榾

I've not been posting much in WRUW lately as Ive been enjoying an extended honeymoon with my newest true 馃グ and wouldn't like to bore you all with the same watch everyday 馃榾

That's a sorry excuse. As if if more pics of that beauty would be a bad thing.馃檮

We shall expect to see it here again tomorrow... and early in the day, if you please.馃槣

Off to the Christies preview later... 馃榿

Like to hear your thoughts on how they watches look in person. I don't land in NYC until Sunday and hope to get by to the auction Tuesday between other events. MP

All looked pretty good - some that I breezed over in the catalogue looked actually very nice in the metal - this was the 'big daddy'

Faithful 6309 today...my first 'pilot watch' purchased new in 1987. Also, U.S. Navy G-1 flight jacket was issued in 1986.

Those 6309s are tested for the nuclear apocalypse-they are essentially indestructible! Goes very well with the jacket!!
