This was an experiment as I've never been a big Rolex guy.

But I have fallen in love with this one, plastic "replica" insert and all.

It's been on my wrist almost constantly these past few weeks..

This was actually my first textured dial Omega, it´s from around 1951, a ref 2619 which is about 36mm and with a manual winding 265. It is an intriguing dial and the effect always fondly reminds me of my grandmothers tablecloth from the time when I was a kid. 😀

Then I would have been getting goosebumps from grandmothers tablecloths as well. I am sure calling DIBS is futile, and I will be way down on the list, but if you ever should go mental and decide to part with it, then Norway is waiting!😁
