Very close indeed. That's a very nice Marine Star. Too bad they retained the model name for a lot of less distinguished stuff.

I was told by another collector that this particular watch (double-signed Tuerler), which he thinks is the one he had once owned, once belonged to the crooner Perry Como, but of course I can't prove it...
