This arrived this afternoon...and as soon as I got home, the bracelet was off, and this Zulu was on.

I can see this getting a lot of wrist time... it glows so fricking much.

I've never seen such a Rolex like tag before. Looks good on the NATO. Come to think about it maybe I'll set mine on a NATO as well, it will revive it a little

Thanks Sergio. The old 1000 series (980.XXX) are very submariner in style. There's a 1000M large cased version that's even more Rolex in style.

Thankfully they don't have the Rolex price tag... and it might be Quartz, but I've got a lot of love for it. 馃榾

Yep, my tag is also Quartz but it was my first good watch as a kid so I love it. Once I get home I'll "NATO " it and post.

Awww heck, you both made me nostalgic. Also the first good watch I got as a kid after destroying many swatches over several years. I've had this watch since '88 or '89. I actually had to put it in the freezer a few months ago to get the case back off to change the battery. Still works great and somewhere I have a new crystal for it. Also on a navy NATO.

Started off wearing the one on the left and then picked the one on the right up from the watchmaker and wore that for the afternoon:

Love the mesh on that Speedy!

Here it is. Chose a black NATO but may try the green later. I'll wear it tomorrow.

Here goes to the quartz Tag of the eighties!!
