I bought this @ flea market in Miami Beach long before I had any serious interest in wristwatches outside of Rolex and Patek. Not my first vintage but one of the first. Pic is from (2) summers back (which was the last time I wore it before this evening) I (((heart))) this watch but I must be frank - she's an effort to set. Surprisingly, once set, she keeps perfect time.
My first watch and always my first (watch) love. I still say it's the best looking dial ever made in large numbers. It really is a perfect watch, right? Yours is in real top collector condition!
Will be wearing this NM all original 53-year-old ref 1625 for the next few days. Super comfy Jubilee is marked 62 as well. Old pics. edit: This one seems to go "under the radar" on this forum. My 6609 with black dial gets all the attention.
Not mine, but my business partner & friend's Speedy 125 sitting below his new tattoo (you can see that it's still "healing", thus the cracks). He made sure that the bones "framed his watch:
Now to set the moon! A respectable 36mm and firing on a Venus 206. Pity about the crappy lighting conditions but plenty of other days to come
