Well I figured I didn't have a chance with the "One" watch so this will do!

For how many minutes did it get to stay in the store? A full hour? That thing has barely been released!
Congrats 馃榿

Thanks. Just PM'd the seller. I remember, now, seeing that in FS. Great score!

It has taken what seems like ages to me, but finally this one is on my wrist.
Universal Berthoud Geneve cal 385.
A very rare and early waterproof design chronograph ref 7066. Serial puts it to 1937-39.
More pics to come.... ::psy::馃榿

Tropical's not always my thing, but this one is. More like an Equatorouter, really.

Gents, I'm a newbie. See my avatar, that's me right now along with a newer Tag Formula 1. I have another newer Tissot automatic, but.... That is until I receive the '67 Seamaster 600 stainless picked up through your forum. I can't wait! I will post some shots upon receipt, just like a proud papa with child. Thank you in advance for entertaining me with my excitement. 馃榾

Today, it's time to wear one of my lesser worn watches: the Tissot Seastar manual wind.

A sligthly dressy member of the Seastar family with a wonderful sunburst dial, applied markers and semi-hidden crown, it wears well due to its size (37mm?) and has a reasonably sporty appearance. I rescued it from a thrift store for 8 dollars or so and sent it for a service, ending any sort of bargain status it might have had 馃う

鈥hough it probably was for the better 馃槻

The watch wasn't running when I got it, but servicing saw to that, and after some start-up difficulties it's now running like a top.
It's one of those watches I'll probably sell at some point, but for now I'm enjoying having given it a new lease of life 馃榾
