I like seeing the different straps on black-dial watches. Saves me wasting money on experiments
So far, I've narrowed it down to black, blue or brown for my Tag Heuer 2000 Professional. Thinking about going for a padded Kevlar strap.

I like seeing the different straps on black-dial watches. Saves me wasting money on experiments
So far, I've narrowed it down to black, blue or brown for my Tag Heuer 2000 Professional. Thinking about going for a padded Kevlar strap.

I say go for them all. It's (relatively) inexpensive to swap straps and it's always neat to see how different pieces take on different personalities when placed on various straps.

Today I wore this Heuer Monaco, ref. 1133G, on an unusual leather strap.



This is a very flat, vintage Speidel strap …



… which works surprisingly well on this heavy watch.
