But wait. Where's the Lollypop? and the new countdown bezel!!! I call foul!!!!! FOUL!!!! that is no Bond watch!!
I like seeing the different straps on black-dial watches. Saves me wasting money on experiments So far, I've narrowed it down to black, blue or brown for my Tag Heuer 2000 Professional. Thinking about going for a padded Kevlar strap.
I say go for them all. It's (relatively) inexpensive to swap straps and it's always neat to see how different pieces take on different personalities when placed on various straps.
Driving before sunrise with my Timex Pro Triatlon... in the other wrist my speedmaster waiting for the rest of the day
Today I wore this Heuer Monaco, ref. 1133G, on an unusual leather strap. This is a very flat, vintage Speidel strap … … which works surprisingly well on this heavy watch. Cheers, Mick
Mick, I must say, you've got one helluva good eye, and an amazing collection. Always look forward to what you'll show next. Cheers!
One of two on the wrist(s) today. The calendar setting might lead you to believe that this is a file shot. But, no! It is on my wrist. These have F300s have a plastic date ring! The internal teeth chip over the years, and the date is rendered inoperable! I need a date ring, other than the used one offered recently on a popular auction site at a price higher than the value of this watch!
