No, no, it was very cool, what you did 👍.... you only missed that one element, an easy one to miss.... but a fine one it is!...

Hopefully, we will see an even clearer, 'less reflective' version of that one from @Barking mad in the future!

It is a painting called "Sunday morning activities before church" by an Australian Artist by the name of Stephen Roberts. I purchased about twenty years ago from the artist. He was not supposed to sell it as the model is his wife, the painting won an art competition and hung in the Guggenheim for a period of time as well as featuring in an International art book. Liked the painting before I knew the full story which just made it even more interesting.

After a few days away while I wore my beater Seiko, today I opened the mail, and there was the new genuine Omega crown for my 2627 with calibre 355 movement with date ar 6:00. Put the crown on the watch, and the watch on my wrist, again. Good to have it on again!

Almost two weeks on the wrist, full time. Super performer after reposing, dismantled, in a parts bin for over 40 years! Short month. Will have to be re-set for Oct. 1.
