Not everybody's cup of tea I'm sure, but I've got a soft spot for divers with lots of honest wear.

Still enjoying it. Ref. 2606.
Love the cal 381. A pure Lemania design as is also the case for the cal 321.
Omega had a version made without the moon disc, cal 380. Lemania referred to this as cal 3300.
381 was exclusive to Omega.

Darlinboy,
I was selling Rolex and Tudor back in the era of your Tudor. Cica the mid-1960s. That model was called the "Black Prince" as I recall. Whether that was a Rolex tag, or merely colloquial, I don't recall. That watch was a favourite of mine back in the day. Why I didn't buy one, I don't recall.

Here I am wearing the "Black Prince" once again. Although mine is a reference 7995/0, clearly it was an "official" moniker given to earlier and similar (they have that "special smartness"馃槈) references, as shown in the ads below.

This one does not get worn much, but it is one of my keepers. Plan to pass this one down to my oldest son in 5+ years.

two watches today.

The watch for work

and the watch for home

I love the character of the zenith and the statement the lobster braclet makes, but my goodness, that's a heavy watch. It makes the steel Seamaster feel like a feather.

That indeed is the "Black Prince". 50 years ago, and for years following that, this watch was a popular one! I sold a lot of them back in those days. Just as sharp now as it was back then, too! I suspect your ad is likely from the late '60s or early 70s. I suspect the printing at the lower left of the second page gives a date? Unable to read it. Don't you wish those prices still applied.........even for a good pre-owned one? Love it!
