LMLE What's weird is on the first picture it looks like I banged the bezel pretty hard at 30....but it's just a pic distortion. I saw the pic on the computer and.i was like...shit, when did that happen? Then I looked at my wrist and it wasn't there
Thanks @Mad Dog. She led a hard life as a diver in the Caribbean, was left for dead, but salvaged by an excellent watchmaker. It's not the most valuable watch, but I'm very attached to it.
I hear you, @AAAKK...I'm very attached to my 6309 as well...purchased it new (still have original box & papers) for $140 in 1987 while in Navy primary flight training...it's been my 'flying watch' since 1987.
Fantastic, so cool that it's got an authentic story and still in the hands of the original owner. Although mine had a life as a working diver, I just live vicariously through the watch. Not only don't I dive, I swim like a rock.
I love my mailman, Charlie! He just brought me this: It came in this really cool, old box, that looks like an antique radio:
Dougiedude says he loves his mailman for what he delivers! I'll possibly be able to say the same in the next day or so, as I await my NOS Omega case coming from a collector in Madrid, Spain (Thanks Tritium). I'd LIKE to say that, except our letter carrier is a cute girl!
Double checking the clock I put on my chimney this summer. I am not looking forward to daylight savings time.
