Today I'm wearing the result of one of my more ambitious projects, finished about two years ago: This is a Heuer Autavia ref. 1563 in the so called exotic configuration. This watch initially left the factory with bright orange colored main hands and minute register half circle. However, my starting point was this over-polished wreck, fairly faded under South America's sun: I decided to keep as much colors original as possible resulting in this very balanced vintage look: Kudos go to Abel Court who did the real work. Cheers, Mick
7th UG for the week, just realised I have one for everyday (how did I get here...., must be this forum!)
New arrival: Cal 143-6, early 1950's, a pilot's chronograph associated (at least loosely) with the Yugoslavian military... so now, with the Cairelli, I've got Adriatic air space covered. And at last, an Excelsior Park movement in my collection.
