An Explorer, then a Barrel today.

That Explorer is my one and only remaining grail watch -- yours is a spectacular example.

Woo Hoo! My very first Speedy Tuesday! Not coincidentally the calculator [which still functions perfectly, by the way] in the background was manufactured in 1975 -- the year of the Apollo-Soyuz flight.

Gotta love those old HPs. My dad got one when they first came out. I used it through the first year of engineering and then upgraded. I think that I still have the plastic molded box that it came in somewhere....

Beating away at 28800 A/h

Nice, elegant, clean layout, how wide and how old? It looks 36-38mm on your wrist

LeCoultre Memovox, circa 1966...

One of the prettiest Memovoxes I've seen. How deep do I stand on the dibs list?

@pipefitter , @adam78 -- you guys are killing me, taunting me with my next "must have" watch! Specifically, I'm after the most modern 36mm case version I can get my hands on. And when I get it, the metal bracelet will come off and I'll be looking at NATO straps and what-not to make it my new adventure watch.

But it'll be a while till I'm ready to go on a serious hunt for it. Mrs. Jones has put me on an indefinite "watch-purchase-diet", and I can't blame her for doing so.
