Present from the father-in-law. Not easy to tell the time: It's 2.15 in the afternoon, I look at my watch and think it's time for a drink.

Unsuccessful in getting the crystal changed. Anyone know of where to source for a suitable replacement?

Any watchmaker - a real one - used to working on vintage watches would have a generic crystal he could adapt to the tension ring and the diameter of the case.

Mine mentioned about the need for an atypically shaped crystal with straight edges instead of the typical generic rounded crystal.

The Polerouter is a thing of beauty. I'd throw my mother-in-law into a burning pit for it.
