It's back!!! Omega serviced it. I got a bag full of parts, crown, hour and minute hands, seals, bezel pusher, and a few other items.

This is a rare Heuer Autavia 111.603 (Heuer cal. 12), the latest and largest Autavia model.

I'm wearing this watch only at home and keep it away from desks and doors fearing to scratch the perfect but delicate PVD surface.

    Have a nice weekend.

It took me a few minutes to figure this out. Watch was not quite looking correct. It appears the Omega watchmaker put the crown guard on backwards/upside down. Back to Omega. Hopefully won't be gone to long.

If the case back says " argent (silver) plaque d'or (gold plated)", then the case is vermiele. The tips of the lugs appear to have worn through to the Sterling silver substrate. At one time, the dial on this model read "le must Cartier", and the style was called "tank". On the genuine version, there is you usually the Cartier name in teeny letters printed into the one stroke of the letter "V" in the Roman numeral 8. Your picture doesn't enlarge enough for me to determine if the name is there.

Ugh sorry to hear that. That's unfortunately somewhat common with the 1200m. I remember seeing a couple of threads a few years back where the crown guards were installed incorrectly on BNIB Ploprofs.

Difficult to capture the blue sun burst finish, I dont know why Omega didnt make more of this dial. I bought the dial second hand from watchco sale with minor marks on the dial but its become my favourite Chronostop
