I bought 3 more straps that are on the way..... Another NATO, a "vintage look" leather strap, and a kevlar/sailcloth....should have this weekend.... I'm looking to buy something more "dressy" with a blue dial and leather strap. Looking at the following Omegas; AquaTerra "Skyfall", Deville Hour Vision "Orbis", or the new blue face, steel case Globemaster. As soon as one of my properties sells, I will celebrate with a watch purchase.
Glorious evening, 24 degrees and an evening change - Buzz now twelve weeks old. Garden looking a bit more like Alcatraz every day.
Today I was lucky to collect this red Zenith El Primero Defy ref. A781 from my watchmaker. He is very experienced with El Primeros but he was really challenged by this totally messed up movement – I bought the watch non-running. You may find the case bold and chunky, but the face shows enormous depth: And the blue chronograph second hand adds a bit of extravagance: BTW, Manfred Rössler's catalogue shows this model with a red central chronograph hand, also with paddle. Cheers, Mick
Mick, absolutely agreed! But never to be catched on a picture as it appears in real... Best regards from around the corner. Hannes
This just in from the mailman, so an afternoon switch: A 1941 Naiad CK2111, cal 23.4 SC T1 (quite a mouthful!)
